The fort, while compact, offers a well-maintained ambiance that encourages relaxation and reflection on its rich past. One of the highlights of my stay was the dining experience. The restaurant, offering an outdoor option with a cozy bonfire, created a magical atmosphere under the stars. I particularly enjoyed the continental breakfast, with freshly cooked items that were thoughtfully prepared each day. They even accommodated our fasting needs one morning, which showcased their attentiveness to guest requests. The staff, particularly Prashant, were courteous and sought out feedback, further enhancing our experience. Their willingness to help us transition to Mandir Palace for one night was appreciated, demonstrating their commitment to guest satisfaction. While I would advise planning a stay of no more than two days to avoid monotony outside the fort walls, the experience of dining while immersed in the history of a fort added a unique flavor to my trip. Mohangarh Fort stands as a charming retreat for those intrigued by India's architectural heritage and culinary explorations.
